A Covid Success – Real Estate Agents Carnegie

The Australian Real Estate industry is undeniably resilient. It has weathered many storms including the Covid-19 pandemic. At Ray White Carnegie, we promptly implement the best innovative practices; embracing unexpected circumstances and providing reassurance to our clients in times of uncertainty.

Prior to the Victorian lockdown commencing, Ray White Carnegie already had systems in place to allow for an easy transition into Online Auctioning. Our Partner and Senior Auctioneer, Tom Grieve, shared his thoughts on Ray White Carnegie’s vigilant approach to the novel circumstances presented by Covid-19.

‘I often find it amusing on the day of lockdown when we see hoards of panic-stricken agents posting on social media about how they are ‘adapting’ to lockdown by rescheduling auction dates at quite literally the 11th hour in order to get an onsite auction completed before lockdown commences. For us, we literally flick a switch and everything gets converted to an online auction. Our campaigns proceed seamlessly without a hitch and it is very much business as usual. Ray White as a group has successfully conducted thousands of online auctions across Australia and NZ. Even outside of lockdown restrictions online auctions have continued to be a large part of our business.’

Using these existing systems, Ray White Carnegie successfully sold 5/6 properties that very weekend.
