Carnegie Library & Community Centre

By Matt Hurlston

Check this out Mums and Dads!

Have you ever wanted to plan a birthday party for your toddler, but feared the impact 20 rambunctious youngster’s may have on your house? Then Glen Eira City Council is able to offer an ideal alternative.

The Children’s Multi-purpose centre is primarily designed for children’s playgroups or birthday parties and will seat approximately 20 children.

With a spacious, but enclosed, outdoor area with rubber soft ground and sandpit, it offers parents the peace of mind that their children can run free and enjoy themselves in a safe environment.

Inside there is enough room to allow for several activities to be conducted at once and all in plain view of parents. There are ample toilets and a kitchenette available allowing you to cater for your function.

The Children’s multi-purpose centre also has the option that it can be used to hold small community meetings of approximately 10 adults with seating to cater for this. Again the room would allow for children to be present at these meetings, thus allowing more parents to attend.

To make use of this excellent community asset simply call City of Glen Eira 03 9524 3333 or email your inquiry too mail@gleneira.vic.gov.au
