Get the Kids Out For Glen Eira Children’s Week Festival

Families who have invested in real estate in Carnegie and would like to explore more of what the local area has to offer may be interested in the Glen Eira Children's Week Festival.

The event is being held on October 26 from 09:30 to 12:30 AEST and welcomes children of all ages.

The Carnegie Library and Community Centre is hosting the free festival, where children can learn more about the world around them and hopefully have the opportunity to be creative in the process.

One of the highlights will be found on the library forecourt, where friendly farm animals will be waiting to meet local youngsters.

Lambs, rabbits, calves and ducks are just some of the creatures on show, which children will be given the opportunity to feed and hold.

Meanwhile in the library foyer, kids aged between three and seven will be able to make their own individually designed bookmark to take home with them using reclaimed materials.

Other activities will include storytelling, balloon sculpting and various other arts and crafts.
