If you are planning to auction your property be sure to know who your auctioneer will be. Choosing the right sales agent and auctioneer combination will dramatically increase the likelihood of a higher selling price for your home.

Interview your auctioneer.

Will there be a pre auction meeting with you and our sales agent to discuss best strategy?

What is your role on Auction day?

Where should we start the bidding?

What will you do if no one bids?

If the property passes in how will you do this?

How do you handle questions from buyers?

What selling points will you highlight about the home, location, market?

By asking these questions you will quickly establish if your auctioneer is just turning up to add up the numbers or if he/she has a well perfected process of securing you the very best price on auction day! All the best
