Join in the fun at Party in the Park

By Matt Hurlston

There’s been a busy schedule of events taking place across the Carnegie region this summer, which have brought together residents of real estate in Bentleigh East and further afield. One of the final events will be the final Party in the Park 2016, scheduled for 20 March.

The all-day event will include art and craft activities, free rides and children’s cooking classes and much more, making it a great day out for all the family. It’s hosted by the City of Glen Eira Council and will be held at Allnutt Park in McKinnon.

This will be the last in the series of Party in the Park events, which have taken place all summer. Princes Park in Caulfield South held a similar festival last month, including appearances by Bananas in Pyjamas and Peanuts, among others.

One of the highlights of this particular day will be the Pet Expo, including the popular Pet Parade. Prizes will be on offer for the winners.

If you’re interested in getting involved, all you need to do is head down to the park between 10am and 4pm. There will be no shortage of things to see and do, making this the great way to spend a summer’s day in this popular Victorian suburb.
