Matt Hurlston from Ray White Carnegie: Have your say on Glen Huntly Reservoir Redevelopment

By Matt Hurlston

One of the great parts about living in Oakleigh real estate is that you get a say as to what's going on in your local area – and the Glen Huntly Reservoir Redevelopment is just one of the projects you can comment on.

Glen Eira City Council is holding a community consultation to find out exactly what residents want to happen in the region, so why not get involved?

Work has already been carried out to establish what purpose the redevelopment should serve, with local residents saying they want it to be a place for passive recreation.

This will mean there are plenty of trees and social spaces, as well as spaces for recreational activity.

There are also plans for a climbing wall and ball sports area, which will no doubt make this the perfect place for you and your family to spend those summer afternoons.

A public meeting will be held at Glen Huntly Pavilion on 23 June where you can air your views, otherwise you can head to the online forum to see what your neighbours are saying.
