Glen Eira City Council revealed how collections and services have been improved, offering more large print and audio books to you and your neighbours.

"E-books are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the convenience of your home computer, e-reader, iPad or other smart device," explained Glen Eira City Council manager of library and information services Mark Saunders.

"If you don't have an e-reader, you can borrow a Kobo e-reader from the library."

Library workers are also on hand if you need help finding the books you're after. They can even go and locate them for you while you wait.

It's possible to pre-order books over the phone, or request a selection of titles in your favourite genre for you to collect.
