Matt Hurlston of Ray White Carnegie: New home sales rose over November

By Matt Hurlston

The growth of Australia's property market has seen some significant jumps over the last few months, with November the second consecutive month of new home sales increases. This expected to continue into 2015.

Now could be a great time to start looking into purchasing your own real estate in Bentleigh, with Housing Industry Association chief economist Harley Dale stating the final few months of 2014 were great for the market – especially the multi-unit property sector.

"Total seasonally adjusted new home sales increased by 2.2 per cent in November last year following a lift of 3 per cent the previous month," said Mr Dale in a 22 January statement.

"The key leading indicator measures of building approvals and new home sales suggest this re-concentration of growth in the 'multi-unit' segment will persist into 2015."
