Matt Hurlston of Ray White Carnegie: New Year celebrations offer uniquely Melbourne tastes

By Matt Hurlston

Welcome in the New Year in Melbourne the right way by gathering with thousands of other residents of the Victorian capital city for midnight fireworks to bring in 2015. With four live sites across the city, there will be music and live entertainment provided to make this the best send off to 2014 in the city.

Lord mayor Robert Doyle said there will be live sites at Docklands, Kings Domain, Treasury Gardens and Flagstaff Gardens, with unique music and entertainment provided by a number of different artists and musicians – including some native Melbourne DJ's spinning tunes till well into the morning.

"Whether you're at one of our live sites or watching the Channel 7 live broadcast from your own New Year's Eve party, you will be able to enjoy the original soundtrack choreographed and synchronised exclusively for the midnight fireworks," said Mayor Doyle in an 18 December statement.

Owners of real estate in Bentleigh East are invited to join the revelry and get amongst the action on 31 December.
