Playground Upgrades In Carnegie

By Matt Hurlston

Having a safe and fun environment for the kids play outside in is often an important consideration when deciding where to purchase a new family home.

Families living in real estate in Carnegie can now benefit from various new and improved playgrounds in the area.

Monash City council investment over the past months led to substantial upgrades to the playgrounds in Meade Reserve and Progress Park.

Refurbishments have also been completed on the playground in FE Hunt Reserve, within walking distance for those residents of Oakleigh real estate.

Additionally, improvements are scheduled to begin on Lum Reserve and Damper Creek Reserve, including the addition of a brand new climbing net and carousel.

Work to replace all play equipment on the two terraced playgrounds in Damper Creek Reserve will start in February and take approximately 10 weeks to complete.

A playground to cater for children of all abilities is also planned for Holmesglen Reserve this year, with construction expected to finish in June.
