How many years have you been in real estate?

20 this year (Started in June 2003)

What made you want to work in real estate?

I always enjoyed working with people as previously in hospitality. Thought it could be a good industry to build a solid career in.

What is your favourite part about sales?

Piecing a deal together is always fun and challenging which I love.

What is your greatest strength?

I get told quite a bit that I am resilient. I feel I have a strong ability to connect with people too.

How do you cope when presented with a challenge?

Pretty well. There are always previous challenges from the past both personal and professional to draw inspiration from.

What is the current market trend in Carnegie?

Like the majority of Melbourne, stock levels are extremely low, especially for family homes. This is continuing and is creating solid competition from buyers.

What do you think the next future market trend will be in Carnegie?

With building costs at all-time highs, we are seeing a surge towards ‘turn-key’ properties. Anything built well I feel will perform very well in the market over the coming years.

What is your favourite coffee shop in Carnegie?

Can’t say that I have one specifically as there are so many that are great. It’s great going to different ones and getting to know the owners.

What is your favourite weekend getaway spot in Victoria?

We get away to Lorne once a year for an extended break with a number of family members. It is a great place to take the kids, switch off and unwind for a few days.
