Ray White Carnegie’s Matt Hurlston: Get on board for the Community Grants Program this year

By Matt Hurlston

If you have some ideas about improving Glen Eira, now could be the time to start turning those thoughts into action. The local council is taking applications for the Community Grants Program for the coming year, which could offer residents of Bentleigh East real estate the chance to make a difference in their community.

Glen Eira mayor Jim Magee said that investing in the growth and development of the local community was an important part of the council's job, especially when it comes to volunteer groups who are making a difference each and every day.

"The Community Grants Program supports and assists not-for-profit community based groups to implement projects and activities that benefit Glen Eira residents," said Mr Magee in a 24 February statement.

"Community Services Grants of up to $7,500 will be available for projects, which address council priorities and meet funding guidelines and conditions."

The deadline for applications is 24 April, so it's important to get involved as soon as possible to be in for funding!
