Victoria's housing figures have remained healthy over August, which could be a great indicator for buyers interested in real estate in Bentleigh to take to heart. The latest Australian Bureau of Statistics results highlighted that the number of these finance products sought and approved in Victoria over August rests 2.8 per cent higher than the same period last year.
This could be encouraging for those interested in buying their own property in the region, with Housing Industry Association executive director for Victoria Gil King saying that the last few years have seen the region steadily increasing in strength, especially as home construction figures have led to a growing supply of real estate for people to purchase.
"Housing finance, particularly lending for new homes, is among a string of new home building indicators signalling that conditions in Victoria's residential construction sector will remain healthy throughout the rest of 2014," said Mr King in a 10 October statement.
