By Matt Hurlston

Residents of real estate in Carnegie are in for a treat this spring, with Glen Eira Council organising a number of different musical performances across some of the most beautiful parks and open spaces in the local community. Throughout October and November, Sunday afternoons will be filled with wonderful music and time to spend with friends and family.

For example, The MikMaks are play at the Carnegie Library playspace on Sunday 26 October and are sure to be a riot for the younger members of your family to sing and dance along to, while The Fenians will be performing their Irish ballads for your entertainment at Glen Huntly Park on 12 October – which are sure to be enrapturing and a wonderful way to spend your lazy Sunday afternoons.

A highly skilled dance group The Asanti Trio will be performing on 9 November at the King George VI Memorial Reserve. Their act is paired with expert drumming to create a fantastic display of talent for viewers to soak up. These are just some of the countless acts being performed across the region in the near future.
