Small Business Month Lights Up Minds in Bentleigh East

By Matt Hurlston

It's well known that real estate in Carnegie and Bentleigh East is often snapped up by young families eager to base themselves in a friendly neighbourhood that's brimming with quality education opportunities, from pre-school to secondary school level.

However, these Melbourne suburbs present more than just opportunities for kids , as May Small Business Month is kicking off in a few weeks time.

There is an extensive range of activities on offer, from the Small Business Q and A forum on May 1, to a workshop on tender writing on May 15 and a strategic planning workshop on May 23 and 26.

That's not to mention interactive sessions that focus on utilising employees' brain power, using Facebook or LinkedIn as a marketing tool and considering promotional strategies.

The City of Glen Eira is encouraging interested businesses to register for these events or simply find out more about what's on offer.

With supportive, foward-thinking initiatives such as this available, it's no wonder that people choose real estate in Bentleigh East and Carnegie to raise their family and base their local businesses.
