Victorian employment on the up

By Matt Hurlston

If you've recently made the move to Bentleigh real estate and decided it's time to find a job, your chances are looking pretty good!

The latest stats show that 10,100 extra full-time jobs were created in Victoria in April, making it the highest growth in the whole country.

Figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics also suggest you're likely to be in luck if you're hoping to bag a part-time job, as growth was also seen in this area as well.

"Labour force figures underline how important it is to have a strong state budget to fund a record infrastructure pipeline that generates jobs, increases investment and boosts productivity," said treasurer Michael O'Brien.

He also suggested people are confident in the Victorian economy at the moment, especially as it has the highest employment level out of all the non-mining parts of the country.

With plenty of major projects in the pipeline, it'd be wise to say that more jobs are going to be made available over the coming months and years, so watch this space.

If you're looking to buy Bentleigh real estate, you should get in touch with an experienced professional such as Matt Hurlston at Ray White Carnegie.
