What’s On: Music in Stonnington

By Matt Hurlston

Music lovers living in Malvern East real estate have a unique opportunity to attend a number of free outdoor concerts in the area over the next month.

A chance to come together as a community to celebrate Australia Day and share in the soothing sounds of King of Pop, Normie Rowa lands in the Malvern Gardens on January 26.

Stonnington then changes the tune with Opera in the Park at Prahran's Victoria Gardens on Saturday, February 1.

Featuring highlights from Verdi's popular opera, Il trovatore, Opera in the Park will transport audiences back to 15th Century Spain to experience a tale of great love and loss and a secret that haunts a family for generations.

Then February 15 brings a little Hollywood style to Ardrie Park with 'Musical Melodies goes to the Oscars!'.

A number of Australia's musical stars will perform songs from beloved movies from the ages. The line-up includes Silvie Paladino who has returned from a blockbuster season of Les Miserables on London's West End.

If you're a music enthusiast who would enjoy living in a community that celebrates your passions, speak with real estate professional Matthew Hurlston at Ray White Carnegie about property in Malvern East.
