What’s On: Pet’s Day Out

By Matt Hurlston

Residents of Carnegie real estate will get an opportunity to take their furry friends out for a day of fun and learning this Sunday.

The Hinkler Twinkler Pet’s Day Out is on Sunday October 6 from 8 a.m. at Hinkler reserve in Glen Waverley.

The event features activities, prizes and informational talks from animal experts about responsible pet ownership, adoption and volunteering opportunities in the area.

Pet’s Day Out endorses your animal’s health and happiness while also providing owners crucial knowledge to ensure cat or dog can live comfortably in your neighbourhood and environment.

Members from the RSPCA will be on hand to demonstrate the many different ways you can give animals a second chance.

Other organisations attending are:

Amazing Greys – A private greyhound rescue group that rescues and rehabilitates unwanted retired racing dogs across Australia.

MonashLink’s MPets – a volunteer organisation that cares elderly, frail and disabled people’s pets.

K9 Coach – A dog training company that works with all manner of dogs and people.

Join in for a fun and informative morning to make living with pets enjoyable for all residents in Monash, Carnegie.
