Young Kids Learn with Quality Early Childhood Education

By Matt Hurlston

Young families living in Bentleigh East, Oakleigh or Carnegie real estate can look forward to National Playgroup Week, which runs from next Monday.

With a week of special events planned, parents of preschool-aged children have plenty of options available to them.

Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development Wendy Lovell launched the initiative today (March 20) at Melbourne Museum.

"Playgroups provide children with countless opportunities to learn and grow through playing, sharing and socialising with their peers and are just as valuable for parents as they are for children," announced Ms Lovell.

Over 40,000 children across the state attend playgroups every year, according to Ms Lovell.

While much of the special week focuses on more rural areas, there are plenty of early childhood options for kids living in popular Melbourne suburbs such as Carnegie and Bentleigh – and these run year-round!

For instance, Goodstart Early Leaning Centres are dotted all over the area – there's one on Oakleigh Road, while those living in real estate in Bentleigh East can head along to the South Road or McKinnon Road centres.

Then there's Carnegie Kindergarten, which has been providing a safe haven for fun and learning for almost a century.

With government initiatives promoting learning from a young level and established childcare options, living in Bentleigh East, Carnegie or Oakleigh real estate is a great option for young families. Call Matt Hurlston at Ray White Carnegie to secure the right home for your family.
