Q. Are you still conducting open for inspections or private inspections?

A. Private inspections may be carried out between potential buyers and a single agent. 

Q. Are you still able to provide a market appraisal for my home?

A. Yes, absolutely! Understanding your home’s value is as important as ever. In-person appraisals can now be booked. Alternatively, an appraisal is available via online virtual or online streaming services or over the phone. Please contact us if you would like a free appraisal for your property.

Q. How are auctions being conducted? 

A. We are conducting auctions online as well as on-site. Indoor auctions are subject to a density quotient of 1 per 4m2 up to a maximum of 20 people, with outdoor auctions permitted to have 50 people from any number of household. Ray White is committed to providing an alternative safe environment in which our customers can participate in property auctions.  We have developed processes to ensure that we respect all government recommendations for such environments. We’re a proud auction business and have adapted to deliver an online auction experience like no other, accessible virtually via the comfort of your own home and hosted live by a professional auctioneer. If you would like further information on how our online auctions are conducted or are interested in registering to bid for one of our online auctions, please contact our office or the appropriate sales agent.

Q. Are you still conducting open for inspections or private inspections?

A. Private inspections may be carried out between potential tenants and a single agent.

Q. How do I apply for a rental property during COVID-19? 

A. Under the current situation, we are taking applications for rental properties without needing to physically inspect the property. Ray White Carnegie has video walkthroughs available for viewing online on the property page. Once you have viewed the video walkthrough, you can simply submit your application as normal. You can also view the property physically once you have arranged an inspection and put in an application following this.

Q. How are you conducting routine inspections? 

A. We are currently utilising isolated online routine inspections for the time being. If you have any questions regarding this, please email your property manager for further information.

Q. I normally come into your office to pay my rent via EFTPOS – how do I pay my rent now?

A. Our office is once again accepting EFTPOS Payments for rent via appointment only. You must call our office on (03) 9571 6777 and make an appointment with our Receptionist if you would like to pay your rent via EFTPOS. We also have a Payment Gateway Form that you can complete to set up your rental payments via Direct Debit / BPAY. This form can be found on our website under the Rent tab – Carnegie Rental Forms (or email your property manager who can provide you with this).

Q. What will be happening with maintenance?

A. Non-urgent repairs and maintenance on rental properties are now permitted. It is very important that you are communicating all of your maintenance to us during this time, urgent or not, in writing to your Property Manager. We will create a record of the job in our system and communicate with our tradespeople to have the works completed after restrictions are lifted.
