Ever since I was a kid, if any family member or friend were looking at buying a home, I would always attend all of the open homes and auctions. I would observe the way the agent conducts the open’s and auctions and I would always pick up on little things that I know would improve the experience for a buyer and a seller and now I implement that into my own open’s and auctions.
At the start of secondary school I wrote a letter to myself to open when I finish year 12 and in that letter I stated that when I grow up I want to be a real estate agent. And by the time I received that letter I was completing my electrical apprenticeship and I opened it up and I thought to myself that this is my calling, and ever since then I have loved every step of the way of becoming an estate agent and helping people achieve their property dreams.
There is a lot to love when it comes to myself and real estate however one part that stands out would be making people’s dreams turn into reality. Whether that be securing their dream property or selling their home for a price they could only have dreamed of.
It would definitely be the fact I get to talk to so many people. I love my job because I have talked to so many different and unique people and I just love listening to them and their stories. I also have adopted so much information and knowledge from others because I love helping others wherever I can no matter what the situation is.
My greatest strength would be my work ethic. Ever since I used to work two jobs while completing my secondary school VCE I’ve adopted the mindset to work until the job is done. I wake up early in the mornings so I can go to the gym before work and then after work I will go to boxing training and then a run after that. I would say that I never rest, I’m always either working on real estate or working on becoming the best version of myself.
I love the Carnegie culture. It is such a vibrant and exciting place. When I walk out of the office in the evenings it doesn’t matter which day of the week it is, there are always people out and about laughing and smiling.
On a Sunday I don’t really wind down because I’m always out doing something. I love going up to my farm and working there, such as fencing or trying to maintain our cattle. I also love my cars so on a Sunday I work on either my family’s cars or help out friends’ cars if needed.
My dream location to buy a house would have to be down in Sorrento. I have always loved the beach and it’s always so busy and vibrant down there which I love. However if I had to choose a place overseas to buy property I would love to own a place in Monaco some day.
