A Weekend in Wine Country // Your Local Estate Agents

A stunning restored shed in Red Hill wine country

Situated in the heart of Victoria’s Red Hill wine country, you’ll find ‘The Olive Shed’ – a rustic space that has been transformed into the perfect cosy weekend getaway spot.

I just couldn’t get enough of this place.

As an existing shed, the space was transformed by husband and wife duo to complement the adjacent views of a vineyard, surrounded by olive trees. The home features beautiful timber qualities, exposed brass tap wear and bespoke furniture.

The stunning space exudes charm and elegance, with thoughtful furnishings such as deluxe bed linens, a charismatic kitchenette, light-filled day bed, cute lounge chairs and a cosy wood-fired heater.

My favourite spot? The glorious claw foot bath planted right under the windowsill looking out to the countryside, making it the ideal spot to relax. Once you’ve set up a bubble bath here, you’ll never want to leave. Trust me!

Red Hill is located on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, just over an hour from Melbourne, and the scenic drive won’t disappoint. The hinterland is known for its range of restaurants and wineries, so it would be hard to select just one.

The Olive Shed is the perfect spot for a couple’s getaway or just a night out of the city to explore the quiet surroundings of nature. It’s a guaranteed cosy hideaway to snuggle up by the fire, read a book with a glass of wine or just disconnect from hectic city life.
