Malvern East Turns Into Fashion Runway

By Matt Hurlston

Live in Malvern East real estate? Then be sure to head along to the Malvern Town Hall this Saturday to experience the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF).

"VAMFF is a highlight of the fashion calendar in our city with the very best designers and retailers from across Stonnington showcasing forthcoming trends for the autumn/winter season," stated City of Stonnington Mayor Adrian Stubbs.

Mr Stubbs noted that the area is popular for its range of excellent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.

"We are very proud of our fashion presence and retail strength and contribute $2 million in sales to the Victorian economy and we boast truly unique shopping destinations which include Chapel Street, High Street, Toorak Road, Toorak Village, Glenferrie Road, Greville Street, Hawksburn Village and Chadstone," stated Mayor Stubbs.

The Boutique Edition – a runway show – will be held at Malvern Town Hall on March 22. The first show will run at midday and a second at 2:30 pm.

At 1 pm on the same day, The Boutique High Tea will be an experience for any tea or sweet treats fan.

Check out the council website to secure tickets to these revered events and be sure to contact Matt Hurlston at Ray White Carnegie if you want to buy a home in an area with a bustling sense of community and fantastic events.
