Body Confident Teens
Glen Eira Youth Services is hosting a Parent Information Night Body Confident Teens on Thursday 10 October 2013.

Guest speaker for the event is Louise Wigg from The Butterfly Foundation. The Butterfly Foundation raises awareness and assists young people and their families who experience negative body image issues and eating disorders.

Topics covered include:

Body image and importance of prevention.
Key influences on body confidence.
Importance of role modeling and fostering a positive body image home.
What boosts and bursts body confidence.
Referral information.
Date: Thursday 10 October

Battle of the Bands is a free music event for young people
Come watch and listen to some amazing local talent as young bands battle it out live on a stage for the chance to record their music in the Glen Eira Youth Services recording studio or gift vouchers to World of Music.

With a prize like this, it will be a competition not to be missed this is a free event.

Battle of the Bands takes place
